If you could see how dark it was when I was taking these photos of Alaina and Chris in the woods, then you would love my camera as deeply as I do. I had such a great time with Alaina and Chris. They live in New Zealand but came back to Portland where Alaina is from to have their wedding at The Old Church.

Kyle is a close friend of mine, and I was beyond stoked to travel to Occidental, CA to shoot his and Hillary's wedding. So much of my photography is about emotions and feelings. I'm a big ol' cheese ball if you know me, so this makes complete sense. Taking photos of people I know though reminds me why I love what I do and why it means so much to me. Nothing means more to me then my friends and family, so taking photos of the people my clients love holds a lot of meaning for me. I hope all of my clients can look back on their photos and not only remember, but feel what it was like to be together with those people on that day, and how wonderful it was.
