As a photographer, 10% of my job is being a weatherman, which I have ZERO training in. The forecasts are really helpful, sometimes offering such insight as one predicting 95% chance of rain and the other anticipating 20%. Hm… If I was being graded for being a weatherman for Amber and Will’s wedding though I definitely would have failed. The forecast showed a good chance of rain, somewhere around 50%, but I just didn’t feel it, I didn’t think it would rain, and boy was I wrong. Fast forward two hours after starting shooting Amber and Will’s wedding and I’m huddled under an umbrella with them standing in the Pearl as the sky completely dumped itself onto us. Thank goodness they were awesome, so we just stood under the umbrella and laughed. The rain did really change their day though, because their ceremony was supposed to be at The Fields Park, but luckily they were smart enough to switch it to Urban Studio where their reception was.
From Amber and Will's wedding day I felt like I got to know a lot about them, which is props to them because they did such a great job on their wedding and made it an expression of the two of them.

I had a wonderful time on the Waterfront and in The Hoyt Arboretum with Rebe and Louie. Lots of laughs, lots of exploring got me even more stoked for their wedding this next year.
